From autonomous cleaning robots and digital building management solutions to sustainable cleaning products, CMS Berlin will once again showcase the entire spectrum of commercial cleaning technology at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds from 23 to 26 September 2025. At the leading trade fair for cleaning and hygiene, six halls and the outdoor area will be dedicated to the latest trends and innovations in the international cleaning industry. Exhibitors have announced 78 new products, including 10 world premieres, 4 European premieres and 31 trade fair premieres. At the same time, CMS serves as a central dialogue platform for the most important industry topics such as digitalisation, automation, sustainability and the recruitment of skilled workers.
More exhibition space and international participation
For the first time, the exhibition space covers over 34,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space, representing a significant increase compared to 2023 with 31,000 square metres. More than 440 exhibitors (2023: 421) from 29 countries will be represented at CMS 2025, with growing international participation. The majority of exhibitors from abroad come from Europe, particularly Italy, the Netherlands and Austria, as well as China. New additions include exhibitors from the United Arab Emirates, North Macedonia, Hong Kong and Norway, among others. There is considerable interest among international industry representatives: CMS will be visited by a delegation of 14 participants from the Spanish cleaning company association AFELÍN, for example, as well as a delegation from Allpura, the Swiss employers' association for building services.
Industry giants and newcomers from around the world
Gausium Robotics, HAKO, Kärcher and Tennant, among others, will be exhibiting machines and machine accessories. In the equipment and cleaning systems segment, Vileda Professional & Vermop and Tork/Essity Professional, among others, will be presenting their new products. Cleaning chemicals and treatment agents will be on offer from Diversey, Dr. Schnell, Ecolab, Johannes Kiehl and Tana Chemie. Wholesalers GVS Group, igefa and Topserv will be showcasing a broad product portfolio. One new exhibitor is Oxy-gen from Dubai, a company that is helping to improve air quality with hydrogen-powered fuel cells. Another newcomer is KTV Working Drone from Norway, which offers a drone with sensor technology that cleans facades, roofs and solar panels. Young, innovative companies from the cleaning industry in Germany will once again be presenting themselves in Hall 5.2. The ‘Young Innovators’ stand is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Live demonstrations and networking
This year, CMS Berlin is placing an even greater focus on innovation and personal professional exchange. Numerous formats offer trade visitors and exhibitors a wide range of opportunities for dialogue. Live demonstrations and guided themed tours provide direct insight into new products. In addition, CMS 2025 is presenting new event formats that specifically promote exchange. On Friday, 26 September, a focus day for hospital cleaning and housekeeping will take place for the first time. The Hospital Cleaning Circle is an exclusive networking format with a guided tour of the exhibition, aimed at invited cleaning managers from hospitals and care facilities. The programme will be complemented by specialist presentations. The Housekeeping theme day offers a get-together at a networking breakfast, presentations by experts with a panel discussion, and a tour of selected exhibitors. The Mobility Cleaning Circle on Wednesday, 24 September, brings together experts from the mobility and cleaning industries and offers practical insights into the latest technologies from selected exhibitors.
Knowledge transfer on stage
The CMS Practice Forum in Hall 6.2 is the central platform for specialist knowledge and exchange. Experts will give presentations and take part in panel discussions on digitalisation and AI, sustainability and knowledge for everyday business. The Practice Forum offers target group-specific industry topics, for example for building cleaning, cleaning in healthcare and housekeeping. Further opportunities for professional exchange are offered by the Speakers' Corner with lectures and presentations on pioneering strategies, innovations and best practices from CMS exhibitors. More information on the supporting programme can be found in the programme overview.
Focus on innovation: Purus Innovation Award (PIA)
A special highlight of the trade fair is the presentation of the Purus Innovation Award 2025 by a jury of experts. The renowned innovation award honours outstanding products and solutions in six categories: cleaning machines, robotics/AI, equipment, washroom hygiene, digital tools & systems, and cleaning agents. With the new category of robotics/AI, the jury is responding to the increasing digitalisation of the industry. The award ceremony will take place on 23 September 2025 at the CMS Welcome Evening in the Marshall House. For the first time, the finalists can be experienced live during innovation tours.
