Focus day on hospital cleaning at CMS Berlin 2025: innovations, best practices and networking

Professional hospital cleaning is facing greater challenges than ever before due to growing demands and the increasing threat posed by multi-resistant germs. The Hospital Cleaning and Care Focus Day on 26 September 2025 at CMS Berlin – Europe's leading trade fair for cleaning and hygiene – will provide a compact overview of new technologies, best practices and practical solutions.
From 23 to 26 September 2025, CMS Berlin will showcase how smart solutions are revolutionising the cleaning industry, making it future-proof and providing efficient support for cleaning staff across more than 34,000 square metres of exhibition space. Digitalisation and AI will shape the trade fair in all areas. In healthcare, for example, smart cleaning robots, networked sensor technology and AI-supported planning tools enable needs-based, documented and seamless cleaning of sensitive areas. In addition to the presentation of solutions at the exhibition stands of international exhibitors, the supporting programme of CMS Berlin 2025 offers concentrated expertise, practical insights and targeted exchange, especially for hospital cleaning and care.
For the first time, the trade fair is hosting the Hospital Cleaning Circle on Friday, 26 September, in collaboration with Helios Kliniken GmbH. The exclusive networking event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is aimed at invited cleaning managers from hospitals and care facilities. During business speed dating and a subsequent get-together, specialists and managers will meet for an intensive exchange with other experts who will share their know-how on efficient cleaning processes, new disinfection methods and current hygiene requirements. The programme is complemented by specialist presentations (from 1:00 p.m.) and a guided tour of the exhibition (from 12:45 p.m.) to selected providers of cleaning solutions specifically for the healthcare sector.
The CMS Practice Forum in Hall 6.2b offers a presentation on cooperation with service providers in hospital cleaning, and the Federal Association for Hygiene and Hospital Cleaning will give a presentation on the topic of ‘Bits, Bots & Myths – between science fiction and DIN 13063’.
