The finalists for the Purus Innovation Awards 2025 at CMS Berlin have been announced: on 7 July, the expert jury announced the 18 nominees in the six competition categories for the final round at CMS Berlin. The award reflects the innovative power of the cleaning industry, which will meet at the leading trade fair for cleaning and hygiene from 23 to 26 September 2025. In the first round of the selection process, the experts scrutinised and evaluated a total of 63 competition entries in terms of their outstanding innovative potential for everyday use and how well thought-out the overall concept is. CMS exhibitors submitted many entries in the new Robotics/AI category, which emphasises the growing influence of smart technologies in the cleaning industry.

"This year's jury meeting once again offered the opportunity to take an in-depth look at a wide range of products and technologies. As a jury member, it was exciting to see which topics are currently in focus and how differently they are being implemented. The diversity of the submissions reflected the breadth of the industry and made it clear how committed people are to working on practical solutions. The professional exchange within the panel was just as valuable as the shared view of the submitted entries," said jury chair Tanja Čujić, member of the board of the Federal Guild Association of the Building Cleaning Trade and managing partner at Čujić Gebäudedienste GmbH.

The eight-member jury will select the winners in a second round of voting immediately before the start of the trade fair. The award ceremony will take place at CMS Berlin on 23 September 2025 as part of the CMS Welcome Evening. The nominated finalists will also have the opportunity to present their innovations in a special way at the trade fair. For the first time, there will be thematically different innovation tours that will enable direct dialogue with trade visitors.
