Twice as many towels by unique compression technology
Tork | Essity Professional Hygiene Germany GmbH: In the Tork Xpress hand towel dispensers can fit now twice as many towels.
The bundles are compressed by 50 percent which means twice as many towels can fit in dispensers (image) and twice as many guests can be served before refilling is required. Additionally, less storage space is required and time is saved on maintenance. During production, a unique compression technology reduces the amount of air in the towel bundles, effectively compressing them and reducing packaging material by up to 27 percent. As a result, almost twice as many bundles can be transported per truck, helping to reduce CO2 emissions. Companies can also store double the amount of paper towels, optimizing the capacity of their warehouse and existing Tork Xpress® hand towel dispensers. The compressed towels offer the same high quality that customers are used to from Tork.
